Summary

Fortuna is not an investment advisory service. No content provided by the Service should be construed as a solicitation to trade, a recommendation of a particular asset, or a guarantee of returns. All trading decisions and their outcomes are the user's own judgment and responsibility.

1. Nature of the Service

Fortuna is a decision-support tool that helps users check the trading decisions they make on their own against objective market data. It does not constitute any of the following.

  • Investment advisory business, financial investment business, or discretionary investment business under the Capital Markets Act
  • Quasi-investment advisory business
  • An automated trading system or algorithmic trading system
  • A return-guarantee service or a signal-selling service

2. Limitations of AI Research

  • The AI interprets past and present market data (price, order book, fills, funding rates, OI, etc.) but does not predict future prices.
  • The scenarios (A/B/C) the AI presents are merely possible cases and do not guarantee actual occurrence.
  • The grade (A/B/C/D) is a score evaluating the consistency between the conditions entered by the user and market data; it is not an indicator that promises returns.
  • Analysis may differ from reality due to outages, delays, or errors in external data sources (exchange APIs, etc.).

3. User Responsibility

  • All trading decisions based on information obtained from the Service are made of the user's own free will and at the user's own risk.
  • Users must assess their own financial situation and risk tolerance for themselves.
  • Leveraged trading can result in losses exceeding 100% of the principal. The Service does not recommend the use of leverage.

4. Limitation of Liability for Losses

Fortuna and its operators bear no responsibility for any direct or indirect loss (trading losses, opportunity losses, emotional distress, etc.) arising from trading in reliance on the Service's content.

Even where liability cannot be exempted under applicable law, liability for damages shall not exceed the amount the user paid to the Service over the preceding 12 months.

5. General Market Risk Disclosure

  • The cryptocurrency market is highly volatile. It trades 24 hours a day, and large price swings can occur within a short time.
  • Risks inherent to exchanges themselves (bankruptcy, hacking, withdrawal suspension, etc.) exist.
  • Changes in the regulatory environment may restrict trading or cause asset values to change significantly.
  • Past returns do not guarantee future returns.

6. Disclosure Regarding Live Trading Integration

Fortuna provides an order-assistance tool that uses an exchange API key voluntarily registered by the user to transmit the user's own orders to the exchange. This means the following.

  • Every live order is executed only when the user presses the "Confirm — Send Actual Order" button directly on screen. Fortuna does not trade automatically regardless of the user's intent.
  • Fortuna stores the user's API key encrypted with AES-256-GCM and refuses registration of keys that have withdrawal permission. Even so, the risk of key leakage cannot be zero, and the user is responsible for disabling withdrawals when issuing the API key and for performing security measures such as IP restrictions and periodic key rotation themselves.
  • Exchange API outages, network delays, partial fills, slippage, forced liquidation, and the like may produce results different from the intended price. Fortuna is not responsible for such losses.
  • Fortuna provides safeguards (blocking upon reaching a cumulative daily -2R, a 50% per-trade exposure limit, blocking duplicate entries on the same coin, etc.), but these are auxiliary measures only and cannot prevent all losses.
  • This Live Trading Integration feature may be restricted or discontinued without prior notice due to changes in domestic and international regulatory environments, including the Virtual Asset User Protection Act (effective July 19, 2024).

7. Recommendations

  • Trade only within a range of losses you can afford.
  • Prioritize your own analysis before trading decisions, and use the Service only as an auxiliary tool.
  • Before important decisions, please seek advice from a qualified financial professional.
